About ten years ago, I lost 80 lbs. by cutting my meal portions in half and walking as much as I could as often as I could. In about 8 months, I had lost the weight and embarked on a new, healthier journey for my life. Since that time it’s been very important to me to maintain, learn, and grow in the area of body health. However, it does not work for me to shame, guilt, or beat myself up in this area; instead, I am learning to choose and receive the gift of health and fitness.
